What we do

Five services, one water company

Most outfits drill or they service pumps. Flynn does the whole job — which means one number to call, one crew that already knows your well, and service records going back to the day it was drilled.

Since 1954

Three generations, one standard

Mike Flynn Sr. founded the company in March 1954 on a simple commitment: unsurpassed knowledge, experience, service and dependability, and 100% customer satisfaction. By 1969 he had built one of the largest drilling companies in Missouri.

After his death in an automobile accident that summer, his wife Katy Flynn raised six children and ran the business herself — in a male-dominated trade, to her husband’s exact standards. Their son Danny Flynn owns and operates it today, and chairs the Well Installation Board of the Missouri DNR.

Why Flynn

What 70 years buys you

01

We know your ground

Thousands of wells across our service area means we can study the neighboring logs and estimate your casing and depth closely before a rig ever rolls.

02

We keep the records

Service records on every property we have ever worked on — often back to the original drilling date decades ago.

03

We answer at 2am

24-hour emergency service, staffed by the largest service crews and fleet in the state. No water means priority.

04

We stand behind it

One year warranty on installation and labor; five years from our manufacturers on pumps, motors and tanks.

In their words

What Missouri says about us

Called Flynn Drilling about no water and the first technician showed up at noon and diagnosed the problem, and 30 minutes later the repair crew showed up and replaced a 28-year-old pump and extended the depth another 40 ft. Whole job completed in less than 3 hrs. Love the fast response and professionalism of these guys!

My water stopped working in the house on a Sunday and I called Flynn for suggestions. They asked me a few questions and then said he could come out and look at it. Ken came out within the hour and found a faulty switch. He replaced it and we had water again.

Again I wanted to thank you for a job well done. Our home has a deep well in place from your company (1983) and is doing fine. When it comes to OUR water needs, if you’re not drinking Flynn Water, you “awta.”
